P.S. 295 technological developments, are continually being studied and evaluated and will be incorporated into the Technology Plan. A staff dedicated to nurturing every aspect of a child's educational development. P.S. 295 is a true community of learners and the teachers, students and families work collaboratively to implement researched based best practices in order to promote academic excellence. Academic programs are enhanced with special area instruction in music, art, library, and physical education. There is an overall commitment to maintaining high academic standards and to encouraging students to develop their own unique talents. Classic themes of respect, responsibility, kindness, and cooperation are integrated into all aspects of the P.S. 295 curriculum. Teachers all understand the importance of establishing a climate to learn and a climate where students are able to attain academic success because they are comfortable socially and emotionally in a nurturing environment.
