Fdny Hish School for Fire and Life Safety offers studies in: EMT Certificate, College Now, Collegiate Program, Firematics (chemistry-based course around fire science and fire safety), Firefighter 101, CPR/First Responder and several more. Students who complete graduation have a choice to work for the New York City Fire Department. The School staff knows that students are capable of excellence and, together, with parents, teachers, students, administrators and the community, they have created programs and policies that support and encourage students to reach higher, to try harder, and to achieve more than would otherwise be possible.
