Miller Place High School teachers and parents work hand-in-hand along with other local community officials to focus on making the learning experience one of excellence. Educators are very talented and they know that the latest requirements handed down by the State Education Department that commands more rigorous courses and examinations.
Miller Place adheres to the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. Miller Place High School students will graduate with desires and personal qualities to be; healthy, life-long learners, quality decision-makers, creative problem-solvers, effective communicator, and caring, productive citizens. Miller Place knows this can be achieved by providing a quality education for all within a nurturing environment which promotes excellence, growth, and a sense of civic responsibility.
