Karl W. Saile Bear Road Elementary School is located at 5590 Bear Road North Syracuse, NY and provides education for grades K-4 in Onondaga County. This school takes great pride in providing academically challenging experiences for all of the children while insuring that their learning is a product of a safe environment and a caring staff. Instruction is shaped by the district’s well defined curricula and New York State’s Standards. A variety of support programs are available to make sure that our children have the best opportunities for success.

This New York public school abides by the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. There is an abundance of student services available within the school system starting at pre-school age and up to the 21 year old that want to continue their education. The staff includes a School Psychologist, Director of Student Support Services, and a department Secretary.

The teachers, staff, and administration are dedicated professionals that assist students in reaching their full potential. Not only are they dedicated but are available for extra assistance if and when needed.
