I.S. 381 Intermediate School 381 is located in the 22 District of the New York City Public Schools attending students from grade levels 06 to 08 boosting teaching quality that includes extracurricular activities and parent involvement to keep safety, discipline and education in good standards.

Parents and teachers work cooperatively towards developing a challenging spirit in each student heading to reach excellence by assessing his/her strengths. I.S. 38I also provides special study programs that include Foreign Language Proficiency (Spanish), Mathematics A, NYS Regents Biology, and the Johns Hopkins University Optimal Match Program.

Extracurricular activities span before and after the daily school programs and include reading and mathematics, project arts, athletics, fitness and other supplemental programs Monday though Friday and a three-hour Saturday institute operating since March 2003.

I.S. 381 has also a parents’ portal providing information about enrollment procedures, health and support services, instructional programs, news, rules, regulations and informational resources.
