About

William H. Maxwell Career and Technical Education High School students are now required to take and pass New York State Regents Examinations in English, History, Math and the Sciences. Computers provide an alternative to pen-and-paper tasks, are stimulating for less able children, and provide interesting extension work for all levels of ability. There is a wide variety of computer applications available. Students are involved in inquiry within a structured math, science and technology program geared to fostering critical thinking and problem solving. Students also receive weekly instruction in art, music, health and physical education. Students attending William H. Maxwell experience a rich curriculum which embodies the New York State standards while teaching to both the academic and social sides of students.
