White Plains Senior High School takes great pride in the school's rich diversity, unique breadth of educational opportunity, impressive facilities and highly qualified staff. The school is actively involved in major restructuring efforts to better address the changing needs of our students for the 21st century.
Advanced Placement courses in all major subjects to excellent programs in business and technology, the quality of the school's programs is reflected each year in the honors and awards achieved by individual students, teams and groups. Extracurricular programs include more than 50 clubs, literary publications and performing arts groups, in addition to over 45 athletic teams.
The school and the community have forged strong partnerships that provide our students with a deeply felt connection to our town, region, nation, and the world.
A talented and experienced faculty, small class sizes, educational technology, and the support and financial commitment of the community insure that each student receives the guidance and resources he or she needs to achieve success.
