West Canada Valley Junior-Senior High School is located at 5447 State Rt. 28 in Newport, New York. This is the only school in Poland Central School District, which provides educational opportunities for students in seventh through twelfth grades.

Teachers and staff, West Canada Valley Junior-Senior High School understand just how important student’s years are during this transitional phase of their education, leaving elementary school and then heading off to high school. However, since the junior and senior high school are in the same facility, the transition is much easier on the students and due to the fact that all students are valued as individuals while learning in a safe and nurturing environment that works with the whole student.

West Canada Valley Junior-Senior High School believes in working with the whole child and endeavors to make the transition from childhood to adolescence a positive time for the student that will allow all students to achieve to the best of his or her abilities. When students at West Canada Valley Junior-Senior High School advance to the high school level, they have positive self-esteem, self-respect, and self-confidence.

West Canada Valley Junior-Senior High School works alongside families and the community to provide students with the educational tools and resources as well as social knowledge, skills, and attitudes to succeed in the middle-level grades, high school and beyond.
