Washington Irving High School

About

Washington Irving High School Projects provide an opportunity for students in different grade levels to collaborate on activities that incorporate various disciplines including art, music and physical education. Students develop a strong sense of community and school pride. Teachers are committed to teaching to the whole child and incorporating strong links between school and home. School teachers and staff are committed to providing the very best educational experience for your child and they are all eager to work closely and collaboratively with you throughout the entire school year. The support received from parents/guardians is tremendously important to the schools educational program and the overall success that your child experiences. A strong character education program sets the backdrop for an emphasis on respect, responsibility, and cooperation. Frequent curriculum updates, relevant staff development training, and an emphasis on writing instruction in all subjects have contributed to their success.
