Urban Assembly Academy of Business and Community Development teachers work to prepare students to become business leaders by exposing them to many areas of business and a variety of career options, and teach them how to compete and succeed in a diverse, ever-changing business environment. Their interdisciplinary, inquiry-based curriculum engages students in their other classes as well, while community service projects and advisers promote lifelong learning and leadership. Urban Assembly Academy agrees with the same principles upheld by the district, which is to promote the growth of each student through their own ability, assurance, and pride in a learning environment where each person can grow to become understanding, responsible, and productive citizens in an ever-changing world.
