Tremont Elementary School recognizes the importance of helping the students to develop the ability to create and maintain healthy relationships with their peers. The curriculum is aligned with the New York State Learning Standards and enriched by an innovative reading series and technology instructions. Tremont shows a personal interest in developing students’ independent and creative thought, willingness to accept intellectual risks and challenges, forming superior work habits and cooperative, positive approaches to learning. While these attributes cannot always be precisely measured and adjusted, Teachers honor them and work energetically to foster their development. The school has a very broad curricular that is filled with some great learning programs.
