Tonawanda Senior High School is located at 150 Hinds Street in Tonawanda, New York. This is the only high school in Tonawanda City School District providing educational opportunities for students in 9th through 12 grades.
The mission statement at Tonawanda Senior High School states, “We the staff of Tonawanda High School, in collaboration with all its stakeholders, are committed to:
Fostering a positive, caring school climate
Ensuring the safety of all students
Promoting academic excellence
Encouraging social awareness and emotional well-being, with all students reaching their full potential.
In all we do, we are driven by the belief that students come first!”
Along with providing the best in academics with all the available educational tools and resources, Tonawanda Senior High School offers several athletic programs for students to learn cooperation as well as individual achievements. Some of the athletic programs offered at Tonawanda Senior High School include fall sports such as Cross Country, Cheerleading, Football, Girls Swimming, Girls Tennis, Golf, Soccer, and Varsity & JV Volleyball. Winter sports include Boys Swimming, Co-Ed Modified Swimming, Boys Basketball, Cheerleading, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, and Bowling. Spring sports programs include Track & Field, Softball, Modified Softball, Baseball, Modified Baseball, and Boys Tennis.
