Thousand Islands High School is located at 8481 County Route 9 Clayton, NY and provides education for grades 9 through 12. The special interests and talents of the students are met through a full curriculum of instrumental and choral offerings, art classes, technology courses and an array of occupational education classes available through the local Jefferson Vocational Technical Center.

Advance placement courses and early college admission offers challenging opportunities to our college bound students anxious to get an early start on their college courses. At least 50% of the Thousand Islands graduates pursue post high school educational options - many receiving Regents Scholarships and National Merit Scholarship recognition.

For the academically talented who seek greater intellectual challenge, the District offers Enriched Learning for Success program for the elementary grades and the High School of Excellence Program through BOCES for secondary students.

Physical education and interscholastic sports activities are supported by dedicated teachers and coaches backed up by strong community support and good facilities. A full gymnasium is located in the Senior High School and in addition there is a pool at the High School serving the needs of all the District students for swimming instruction and water safety as well as community recreation.
