Tappan Hill School, built on the understanding that each child develops at his or her own rate. Each program strives to develop the whole child socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Opportunities to learn are presented with a multi-sensory, interdisciplinary approach. Teachers recognize the need for balance between active, child-initiated learning and teacher directed instruction. Respect for individual differences is taught by example, as we respect, value and build on the individual and unique experiences that each child brings to the program.
