P.S. 64 Pura Belpre School is working together with teachers, staff, and parents to create the best learning environment whereas each student will achieve a quality education. Sub-committees are working to improve the quality of education throughout the school with emphasis on technology and library areas. The P.S. 64 has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty, integrity, responsibility. The school uses vast learning styles and ratings tailored for the individual student. At Pura Belpre School they are committed to the belief that the strongest of these teams has at least one parent acting in concert with each student and his or her teachers. For that reason they encourage an open communication between the home and the school so that together steps necessary can be taken to insure the success of each student.
