Ps 51 Elias Howe School instructional direction is to integrate technology into all phases of the academic curriculum. The effective use of technology in standards-based, curriculum rich lessons will achieve high standards for students. This state of the art technological environment includes Internet access, wireless local area Network, enhanced peripherals, and web-based instructional delivery systems. The curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. The staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction. The faculty and staff work to develop responsible and motivated life-long learners, in a safe a stimulating environment. Several different cultures and religions are attending this New York Public School so it has a very diverse background of students.
