P.S. 41 Francis White School has students from grades PK-8 with a class size of 27 with total enrollment of 723. This school is surrounded by the projects and it has leaped out in droves to help these children. They have a very experienced staff of teachers who lend a helping hand whether it be school or home related. This school has a dress code which if they follow they are rewarded and if they don’t they are not. Rewarding helps the most rather than punishment.
They offer art projects as well as drama so there are many different activities for these kids so after school is more for helping them so they are not left alone while parents work. Students work is showed off on a board in the entryway of the school. This makes them very proud to know they have been spotlighted. While not having enough money they do what they can and learn from it.
