P.S. 40 Augustus Street Gardens Children have opportunities to engage in technology-based instruction and participate in library/media programs. Teachers take education serious and want each student to achieve their full potential while preparing them for higher education along with various studies to enrich their learning environment. Along with the teachers and staff, parents also contribute by becoming involved in all the activities and showing their pride in their children’s achievements. The staff and teachers strive to create a learning environment that will promote self-esteem, respect for others, and an appreciation of learning to each student. P.S. 40 School knows that community involvement is on main factors to the success of a school.
