P.S. 260 Breuckelen School surrounding community is made up of both friendly and supportive parents that desire a quality education for their children and remain very active with the PTA to ensure learning excellence. Teachers are focusing on the key elements of reading, mathematics, science, and social studies. Writing, listening and thinking strategies are employed in all of these disciplines, insuring that our students will approach the 21st century with confidence and enthusiasm. Teaching strategies such as collaborative teaching, hands-on learning, flexible grouping and cooperative learning enable each child to become actively involved in the learning process. The P.S. 260 Breuckelen School staff of teachers and other officials works closely with parents and the entire community to provide the best education possible for students.
