P.S. 245 provides a wide range of challenges in various subjects to meet the needs and talents of the student population including the basic educational needs of Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Through the community efforts of the staff, and teachers at P.S. 245 School they work together to provide a safe and caring learning environment for every student, so they can learn and grow during their school years in the classroom and in the community. Officials in P.S. 245 School know that community involvement is on main factors to the success of a school. Parents, community groups, teachers, and administrators, continue to work together to provide a well-rounded education for the students of the school. P.S. 245 invites parents to be active in the PTA, to volunteer at the school, to attend school events, and to support our children as they are going through a challenging time in their lives.
