P.S. 22 provides a challenging educational program for each student while building positive self esteem which is essential for social success as well as academic success. The school focuses on programs for the students that take in real life experiences and make connections to new information. Teachers at the school center on motivating students through an appreciation of learning and the enjoyment of teaching. Not only is the school providing an excellent education for students, but they also include parents in the decision making process with their Building Level Team. The team includes staff, parents, and administrators to search and locate areas of education that need improvement. Along with the Building Level Team, P.S. 22 School has a strong Parent Teacher Organization to ensure support of the school and the classroom.
