P.S. 146 Edward J. Collins School curriculums provide a solid foundation in reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies through individualized instruction. Teachers strive to help students understand concepts, processes, and relationships while developing higher level thinking skills. The instructional program emphasizes high expectations, achievement and learning outcomes to help children gain the skills necessary to live and succeed in a rapidly changing world. Student achievement is our number one priority and they continually challenge students to achieve at their personal best. P.S. 146 Edward J. Collins School works in collaboration with staff, parents and the community, the district has been involved in strategic planning for more than a decade.
