Plainedge Senior High School

About

Plainedge Senior High School applies the same principles set forth by the district as well as the other schools along with providing an education that will aid students in becoming leaders in our democratic society and in their community. Teachers help students develop lifelong capacities to enjoy learning, working, and relating to others. Administration
works alongside parents and community leaders to provide the best possible learning environment with top educational opportunities for the students. Teachers are dedicated to providing an excellent learning environment where students will be trained to become successful.

Plainedge Senior High School values education because it is a process which helps each individual to achieve his/her maximum potential. Education helps to provide a person with the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world, to function in harmony with the environment, to enjoy the fellowship of others, and to live cooperatively in society with respect for individual and group differences. It disciplines and broadens one’s outlook; it helps each individual to develop principles by which to guide actions, and values by which to measure them.
