Oldfield Middle School takes pride in providing opportunities for students to enjoy not only the educational opportunities available but also their role in the community with a number of community service activities.

At Oldfield Middle School, staff, teachers, and administration strive to create a learning environment that is a positive learning facility, this allows all students the skill to learn while learning in a positive manner. Classrooms are small therefore students have a more personal education while students are provided with the best educational tools to prepare them for high school including guidance, lifelong friendships, and pride in themselves.

Oldfield Middle School is the only middle school in the Harborfields Central School District providing students the ability to leave elementary school behind and travel through middle school and onward to high school with the same classmates. Along with graduating to the next level of education with friends, teachers understand the difficulties that present themselves with students during this transitional period during the educational years, thus teachers work side by side with students to help them prepare for high school.

Oldfield Middle School stands by the vision set forth by the district and promotes the growth of every student through a learning environment where each student can become responsible, and productive citizens of their community.
