About
Nyc Museum School is in its fourteenth year being Museum Partners and the Dept. of Education formed an alliance that would use the authentic and unique objects of the museums as the basis for a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary studies program. The program is a strong foundation for generating independent, capable thinkers and learners. The staff of teachers works to monitor and further their progress toward extremely high, but realistic standards, seek out novel and creative ways to improve our instructional endeavors, and to constantly strive for excellence. Student understands that the virtue of self-reliance must be tempered by awareness of his/her need for others and that the success and happiness of each person is inextricably linked to the success and happiness of all with whom life's projects are shared.
