Noxon Road Elementary School is located at 4 Old Noxon Road Poughkeepsie, NY. This school is part of the Arlington Central School District and the Board of Education is the official policy-making body for this school. The school attends to the educational needs for grades k through 5 and adheres to the belief that all students develop intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially at different paces. Noxon Road School in partnership with Sprout Creek Farm will establish and maintain a "Culture of Kindness" within the school community. School officials believe that are concerned about the increased violence in today's society, and the children's increased fascination with, acceptance, and use of violence.

Noxon Road Elementary School knows normal differences in development can span two chronological years. Development and intelligence do not proceed at the same rate. A very bright youngster can mature slowly in physical and social development. A child of average or below average or below average intelligence may be ahead in physical and social development. Intelligence in music, mechanical ability, or the arts may move ahead of more traditional intelligence.
