Midlakes Intermediate School is located at 1510 Route 488 Clifton Springs, NY and provides education to grades 3-5 in Ontario County. Midlakes School provides an environment that encourages students to become successful learners as they develop the strategies needed to make responsible decisions and choices. Learning and instruction are based on carefully sequenced curricula that focus on core subject areas in addition to music, art, physical education, and computer technology. Students access the library and media resource centers in conjunction with study units delivered in the classroom.

At each grade level, certain concepts, skills and content are addressed that will help prepare students as citizens. Over the three years that students spend at Midlakes Intermediate School, they receive exposure to New York State geography, regional geographical formations, the Iroquois Confederacy, explorers, and the concepts related to the United States, Canada, and Latin America. In sixth grade, students develop an understanding of the interdependence of all people, focusing on Western and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
