Middleburgh High School

About

Middleburgh High School is located at 291 Main Street Middleburgh, NY serving grades 9-12. Middleburgh High School is governed by the Middleburgh Central School District Board of Education in Schoharie County. Middleburgh CSD continues to develop a staff development program for technology training, using support from on-site computer teaching assistants and teachers as well as BOCES Model Schools training and coursework through the Teacher Center.

This Schoharie County School serves a diverse, multilingual student population of immigrants to the United States. They seek to provide each student with a language-rich learning experience that moves them to a point where they can read, write and communicate effectively in English and their native language. The students will learn to use their minds well to critically analyze and respond to complex real-world issues. They will use what they learn to become successful academically and professionally and to become advocates for themselves and their communities

The Teachers and other staff members believe that all students are capable of learning, regardless of their abilities, race, color, national origin or creed, and works to make sure this responsibility is met. Other goals and philosophies include teaching students to empower themselves to be able to handle challenges in their lives and make them valuable citizens in a democratic society.
