Manhattan Center - Science & Mathematics adheres to the beliefs of the community and provides the highest standard of education with all the tools and resources available to provide the best education for each and every student that passes through their doors. The school library is one of vast resources helping students excel in all subjects especially reading & comprehension. Fundamental learning skills are the focus Reading, Math, and English Language Arts are at the top of the basic skills. The staff and teachers work right along with parents to provide one of the best teaching experiences for pupils. Each grade level curriculum is aligned with the New York State Learning Standards and enriched by an innovative reading series and technology instructions. Teachers work to ensure literacy and language arts skills of the youngest students, ensuring their ability to read, write and think critically in all curricular areas including math, science, social studies, art, music, library skills, and physical education.
