About

Lindenhurst Senior High School physical education, health, music, art, library and technology programs are also an exciting part of each student’s instruction. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are emphasized, and promote excellence and lifelong learning. Comprehensive academic programs provide each student with a strong foundation in the core curricula areas of language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. Mathematic programs take a balanced approach, focusing on what students need to know, and the processes and skills necessary to reason, solve problems, and think critically. The use of technology applications will deepen student engagement and improve student achievement by enabling them to access and analyze information, solve problems, collaborate with others, and communicate their thoughts and ideas. Teachers intend to educate all of the students to be problem solvers, able to access and use information, make decisions in an information-rich environment, and communicate effectively as they live and work successfully.
