Lake Placid Junior-Senior High School provides a quality educational and an innovative learning environment for students in grades 6th through 12th grades. Even though the school is in a rural area, the students have the most advances educational tools at their disposal including computer classes to ensure success in every field of study.
The staff, teachers, parents, and students at Lake Placid Junior-Senior High School all work together to ensure that all educational, counseling, and social needs are met while adhering to the mission of the district. Graduating students are ready for the challenge of higher educational courses or to begin their role in the community as upstanding citizens.
Along with extra-curricular activities such as athletics, students enjoy other subjects of learning such as Science, Social Studies, Math, Physical Education, Technology, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Home & Careers, and Business.
The community, parents, and staff work together to ensure a students needs are met whether academically, socially, or emotionally to help them grow and mature to becoming upstanding and productive citizens.
