Ulster County is located along the majestic Hudson River and amidst the scenic Catskill Mountains of New York State, Ulster County offers a unique blend of urban amenities in a country environment. School Officials recognize the uniqueness of each student, the school staff pledges to foster a desire for educational excellence that will help students achieve their full potential intellectually, physically, socially, morally and culturally. This New York public school is governed by the Kingston City School District Board of education composed of nine residents who have been elected by the qualified voters of the Kingston City School District.

The Board is vested with the responsibility of setting education policy and carrying out the mandates of the New York State Education Department. This School agrees with the same principles set forth by the district as well as the other schools along with providing an education that will aid students in becoming leaders in our democratic society and in their community. Teachers and staff work alongside parents and community leaders to provide the best possible educational environment for their students. Teachers are dedicated to providing an excellent learning atmosphere where students will be taught to become successful.

Learning technology applications will deepen student engagement and improve student achievement by enabling them to access and analyze information, solve problems, collaborate with others, and communicate their thoughts and ideas.
