J.H.S. 223 Montauk Junior High School program is designed to help students develop confidence in them selves as learners as well as instilling a love of learning. J.H.S. 223 teachers are committed to and knowledgeable in their disciplines, believe in their students and are dedicated to their students' success. The effective use of technology in standards-based, curriculum rich lessons will achieve high standards for students. This state of the art technological environment includes Internet access, wireless local area Network, enhanced peripherals, and web-based instructional delivery systems. The curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. The staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction.
