I.S. 364 Gateway local community is made up of both pleasant and helpful parents that want an excellence education for their children and stay active in the Parent Teacher Association to guarantee that each child can have the best learning experience. Students from all walks of life attend I.S. 364 School. Students of music can select from several types of programs including musical productions, marching band, instrumental groups and even vocal groups so there is something for everyone. I.S. 364 Gateway follows the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. There is an abundance of student services available within the school system starting at pre-school age and up to the 21 year old that want to continue their education.
