High School for Civil Rights provides students a college-preparatory curriculum, grounded in the African-American experience and the history of the civil rights movement. Teachers focus on building basic skills that prepare students for future activities in mathematical reasoning, number and numeration, operations and measurements. Technology is integrated into every aspect of the curriculum through the ready availability of classroom computer networks, video on demand, and wireless internet access.
