George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School provides studies in popular technologies. Students can select from Cisco, web page design, Microsoft network installation, Electrical Technology/Wiring Tech, A+/CompTIA, computer programming, and Vision Care Technology. Students are provided with many opportunities to develop and demonstrate a range of computer skills and applications. Academic excellence is expected of all students as they forge ahead in their academic pursuits. The George Westinghouse curriculum coordinator works closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Technology integration and activities that provide opportunities for problem solving, students at every grade level gradually become accountable for their own learning.
