Forestville and the surrounding areas comprise a population of approximately 3,000 people located thirty miles southwest of Buffalo, New York. At Forestville Central High School they know to help students become successful, all individual needs of the learner must be addressed - academic, athletic, social, moral, and ethical. The learner will access information and use it critically and creatively to solve problems. The staff and teachers are well educated, experienced and committed to excellence. The district has been a recognized leader in implementing the learning standards and in the use of computer technology.

Parent participation and support is acknowledged as essential to maintaining an environment for effective learning. Grade levels taught at this high school are 6th through 12th and the local community area is very popular for its fine recreational facilities with many excellent golf courses, ski resorts, state parks and the famous Chautauqua Institution, which attracts world leaders in the fields of music, medicine, politics, the press and religion.

Staff, teachers, parents, and the community strive to provide the best in educational tools and caring staff that work right along side one another for the betterment of not only the educational opportunities but the pride of living in rural New York.
