About

Forest Hills High School is located at 67-01 110Th Street Forest Hills, NY and educates grades 9-12 in Queens County. This public school is ruled and regulated by District #28 whom strives to set high standards of education for its students. The school applies common philosophies set forth by the school community which is to provide students a sound environment for educational excellence that will develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge and values to become contributing members of society. New York educators encourage individual excellence by students of all ages so that they may gain a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and work.

The school serves a diverse, multilingual student population of recent immigrants to the United States. They seek to provide each student with a language-rich learning experience that moves them to a point where they can read, write and communicate effectively in English and their native language. The students will learn to use their minds well to critically analyze and respond to complex real-world issues. They will use what they learn to become successful academically and professionally and to become advocates for themselves and their communities.

The staff of teachers and other officials works closely with parents and the entire community to provide the best education possible for students. And students really excel in this learning environment that affords small class sizes, positive community support, individual attention, and encouragement which help all students strive for excellence.
