Clifford Wise Middle School is located at 1016 Gwinn Street Medina, NY and it serves grades 6-8 in Orleans County. Middle School students also score above state and regional averages on New York State Regents tests and other standardized tests. The District athletes have achieved excellent results in county sectional and state competitions, along with continued recognition as scholar athletes by New York State.

Numerous extracurricular programs are available ranging from yearbook to National Honor Society, dramatics and service clubs. Musical performing groups have achieved recognition statewide and nationally in field and concert bands and A Cappella Choir. Instrumental and vocal programs are available to all students who wish to participate. Our programs are well supported by parent/booster groups. Students consistently score above state and national averages on SAT and ACT examinations.

You will find technology is integrated throughout all areas of the curriculum which is a critical component of an engaged learning environment. Clifford Wise Middle School curriculum documents provide the space for a tie between technology use and existing classroom instruction, but there is a need to ensure that all students are provided equal opportunity to use technology as a tool for learning.
