Center Moriches Middle School challenges the students’ intellectual and developmental needs in a manner that fosters independent thinking, strong values and character and a desire to become contributing members of society. Students need to learn to take responsibility for their behavior and to accept the consequences for inappropriate behavior. The local community is made up of both pleasant and helpful parents that want an excellence education for their children and stay active in the Parent Teacher Association to guarantee that each child can have the best learning experience. Teachers pride themselves on developing programs and education that will aid children in getting them ready for their high school years through structured programs that work one on one with the needs of each student.
