Brooklyn Technical High School

About

Brooklyn Technical High School instruction is a shared activity for the school to be successful, faculty must participate in the school-decision making process not only in the areas of instructional program design, curriculum development, and materials selection but also in peer selection, support, and evaluation. Individuals have different needs and talents and achieve at different rates. Therefore, multiple forms of assessment must provide a variety of opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to demonstrate what they know and can do. They continue to work on the Comprehensive District Educational goals, with a strong focus on English Language Arts and Math. They work toward exceeding the New York State Educational Standards. Social skills are fostered through Character Education; anti-violence/anti-bullying; and conflict resolution lessons, which were developed and implemented in each classroom.
