Brooklyn Preparatory High School students learn a 4 year science curriculum integrating biology and chemistry. The school has a full-time college advisor devoted to student college and career choices. This Preparatory High serves a diverse, multilingual student population of recent immigrants to the United States. They seek to provide each student with a language-rich learning experience that moves them to a point where they can read, write and communicate effectively in English and their native language. The students will learn to use their minds well to critically analyze and respond to complex real-world matters. The students will use what they learn to become successful academically and professionally and to become advocates for themselves and their communities.
