Beaver River Elementary School is located at 9508 Artz Road Beaver Falls, NY and provides excellent education opportunities for grades K through 5 for the community of Beaver Falls in Lewis County.

In the classrooms you will find children who are active learners while being involved in small group work and independent work as well as direct instruction. Beaver River Elementary School meets the needs of all of the students in a manner which challenges as well as supports their individuality.

Beaver River is known to be a safe neighborhood school where Early Literacy is the primary focus. Through the shared decision making team, a committee made up of community members, parents, teachers, school-related staff and the principal, a School Improvement Plan has been developed.

The highly trained, professional staff keeps current with best practices and strategies through frequent staff development opportunities.

The focus on Early Literacy connecting Reading, Writing and Language can be seen in the primary classrooms. Beaver River offers a School Age Child Care Program before/after school to meet families’ needs. We proudly offer a strong Fine Arts Program, Physical Education Program and have computers for students use in each classroom.
