School officials believe that a positive and collaborative relationship between the school, parents and community is vital to our children’s academic, social and emotional growth and well being. The teachers and staff are committed to providing the very best educational experience for your child and we are all eager to work closely and collaboratively with you throughout the entire school year.

Bayside High School offers selective admission (audition or pre-screening) to the special academic programs that include: Academy of Visual Art & Design
Foundation of art, illustration, fashion, art history, figure drawing, mix media, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, computer graphics, drawing and commercial art.

Academy of Music Vocal & Instrumental Performing Arts
Mixed chorus, female chorale, concert choir, male chorus, piano, theory and music survey, beginner and intermediate band, junior band and orchestra, concert and jazz band, symphonic orchestra, piano, theory and music theory.

S.M.A.R.T. Science & Math Academy of Research Talent for Gifted Students Introduction to research, math and science research, honors and AP courses and other math and science classes.
