Akron High School is located at 47 Bloomingdale Avenue in Akron, New York. The school provides an excellent education for students in 9th through 12th grades. Since, the high school is right along side the other two schools in the district, students become close friends with their classmates, staff, and the community. Each student can learn and grow in a small village atmosphere and become productive members of society.

Akron High School provides the best in educational tools and resources available so each and every student has the same opportunity to excel within his or her own talents and make a statement to the world. Along with providing all the necessary tools for educational purposes, students at Akron High School learn the importance of being a productive member of their community.

The staff, teachers, and administration at Akron High School hold dear the mission statement of the district and strive to create a learning environment that will travel with each student throughout their life.

The community, parents, and staff work together to create a learning environment that will meet the needs of students on all levels including academically, socially, and emotionally to help them become upstanding and productive citizens.
