Acorn High School for Social Justice has many wonderful studies for students that help get them ready for education advancement. Teachers work to make students socially active and become contributors of the community. Students have an opportunity to study Latin American countries, Asian, African and learn about the different cultures. Acorn High School students are getting the chance to learn about Forensic Science which is a fast growing profession and the course introduces the basic concepts and understanding of forensic science and other science related fields; and how it is used in criminal cases, by using published works and case examples. Processing the crime scene, the Forensic Science crime laboratories and services, fingerprinting, and understanding the individual blueprint-our DNA are some of the major topics covered in this course. The Acorn High School staff is always ready to answer question and concern of parents and welcome parental involvement.
