Geographically this district covers an area of 57 sq. miles and many of the residents commute to other towns in the area to work. Advanced technology is up coming for the students and staff within the district as the “Technology Capital Project” expected to be up and running soon is designed to enhance both teaching and learning through the new network of learning resources it will have in its data banks.

Vestal Central School District desires for students to master their skills in math, language arts, social science, science , technology, and to be able to apply these learning skills with good communication and creatively. Vestal Central School District targets the idea that every student is different, but all students can learn! Thus came the District mission “to provide instruction, programs, strategies, and challenges in a caring, positive learning environment. Each student will become a critical thinker, a lifelong learner, and a responsible, contributing citizen in a changing global society.”

The District invites parents to get involved and firmly believes its right, as parents can contribute to the success of the school to help guide the school board to ensure all students receive the best education possible while maintaining a social environment for the students to learn and grow into mature upstanding citizens.
