Tuxedo Union Free School District is located at Route 17 Tuxedo Park, NY and it serves grades K-12 in Orange County. The Board of Education appoints a Superintendent of Schools to administer the programs of the district. The Superintendent's responsibilities include curriculum evaluation, staff development, budget preparation, and overall management of the district and its resources.

The management of the Tuxedo Union Free School District is entrusted to a Board of Education consisting of seven members elected by local voters for three year terms and serves without remuneration. The Board regularly meets in the multi-purpose room of the George Grant Mason School at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. Citizens are encouraged to communicate with the Board and are always welcomed at the meetings.

The Business Administrator shares responsibility with the Superintendent and the Board for all budgetary development, fiscal operations, operations and maintenance, food service, transportation and civil service. Each of their two schools, George Grant Mason School and George F. Baker High School, has a principal who is responsible for the instructional program and coordinates and assists in providing additional leadership in the areas of curriculum and staff development.
