Riverhead Schools

Riverhead Central School District is a terrific school system with 7 schools providing modern educational methods for students. The Board clearly defines expectations for acceptable conduct on school property, to identify the possible consequences of unacceptable conduct, and to ensure that discipline when necessary is administered promptly and fairly. Students attending the Riverhead School District hale from three townships, Riverhead, Brookhaven and Southampton. The Riverhead Districts provides sufficient access to technology so that students have the opportunity to use it to support and enhance their learning activities. School officials work to ensure the curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction.
