Ozone Park is a New York City neighborhood located in the southwestern section of the borough of Queens bordering Woodhaven, Richmond Hill, Howard Beach. Different parts of the neighborhood are covered by Queens Community Board 9 and 10. The northern border is Atlantic Avenue, the western border is the county line with Brooklyn (mostly Drew Street), the southern border is South Conduit Avenue, and the eastern border is 108th Street. New York City District #27 adheres to the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) was signed into law in 2001. Like the Children First reforms, its goal is to raise academic standards, close achievement gaps, encourage more school accountability, and offer more choices to families and students.
